  • In a single sentence, CEV is TEDx of our institute.

  • An organisation which provides a platform for students to showcase their expertise in technical as well as non-technical fields.

  • Till date we have organised more than 30 CEV Talks and have got more than 50 blogs on various topics ranging from how to build a robotic arm, to entrepreneurship to film-making.

  • We also conduct industrial tours for students to help them learn the implementation of theoretical concepts studied in their classrooms. Ex: Volkswagen Pune, KCI bearings Rajkot, etc.

  • Convex is a Convex is the photography club of NIT Surat, governed by CHRD (Centre for Human Resource Development).

  • The sole motto of the club is to motivate students towards photography by clicking the memorable moments of college life and share different the knowledge of photography amongst the group members.

  • The bar is being raised year after year. With announcement of Epiphany, CTF! in Quest, and other challenges as open-for-all contests, the chapter is aiming nationwide recognition.
